Cooby View horse rides cater for levels of experience from complete beginner to intermediate riders or those who haven’t ridden for years and want to get back in the saddle.
Get up close with beautiful horses & enjoy the outdoors.
All sessions run for approx 45 Minutes.
* helmets are compulsory
* boots or enclosed shoes for riders & all visitors
* waiver forms are to be completed prior to starting
* under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Led horse rides
Ideal for children or beginners.
This is a fun outdoor learning activity
in a controlled environment.
Includes:
* safety talk
* how to approach a horse
* grooming
* how to sit correctly
* led ride
* horse games using flags, rings, drums & poles
Equine therapy
Available for self-managed or plan-managed clients. Equine therapy improves physical & mental health. All sessions differ depending on the client’s needs and abilities.
Sessions include:
* safety talk
* how to approach a horse
* patting
* brushing
* lead a horse around obstacles (optional)
* exercises sitting on a horse (optional)
* led ride (optional)

Horse experience
Relaxed horse experience for all ages.
It’s up to you how involved you want to be – no pressure for nervous riders. Riders must at all times follow instructions & be respectful of the horse.
Includes:
* safety talk
* how to approach a horse
* grooming
* how to sit correctly
* tack up & down (optional)
* basic aids for moving a horse
* ride in sand yard &/or small arena with obstacles
Bring your own horse
Day visitors are welcome by appointment.
Free range trail riding on property or you can explore the local countryside.
Use of equine facilities such as sand roundyard & small arena with obstacles is available.
Guided trail rides available by request.
Helmets are compulsory.
